After the treatment the lip will become swollen, the amount of swelling is different in every individual so immediate results will not be the final result, this will be when the swelling goes down.
Typically the swelling can take days to weeks to settle. Ice packs and arnica cream can be used to help the swelling and bruising.
Results will normally last 6-12 months.
You should not touch or mess with your lips after treatment to prevent infection.
You should not apply make up for a minimum of 24hours.
Avoid sunbeds, sauna, sun exposure or vigorous exercise for minimum of 2 weeks after treatment.
Paracetamol can be taken post treatment if needed but avoid aspirin and ibrufen as this will increase the risk of bruising.
Ice-packs can be used for 48hours to reduce swelling.
Alcohol should be avoided the day before treatment and the day after.
